For regular savings accounts, salary accounts and their variations, the cash transaction fee at the originating branch (where the account is opened or ported) is set at Rs 5 per Rs 1,000 transaction, under reserve of a minimum of Rs 150. This applies to transactions above Rs. limit of one lakh (total deposits and withdrawals). The existing limit is Rs two lakh.
Currently, there is no charge for ATM redemption (non-ICICI ATM transactions). In the revised format, the first three transactions, including financial and non-financial in Mumbai, New Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, Bengaluru and Hyderabad, are free in one month. In other cities, a maximum of five transactions will be allowed. Thereafter, Rs 20 per financial transaction and Rs 8.50 per non-financial transaction will be charged.
Elderly account variants, basic savings deposit account and others are excluded.
Now there is no charge for 20 sheets of checks payable at par. The limit is increased to 25 sheets per year. However, an additional checkbook will continue to be charged Rs 20 for a book of ten checks, as before. Goods and services tax at applicable current rates in addition to the listed fees, the bank said on its website.
