Vivian Marie Collicott, 80, died April 21, 2022 at her home in Wichita. She was born on January 6, 1942 in Hays, to V. Francis & Viola (Windholz) Weigel. She married Larry Collicott on August 27, 1960 in Great Bend.

Vivian grew up in Gorham and was currently a resident of Wichita, having previously lived in Great Bend. She worked at a large retail store and later worked as an accountant for Larry’s Body Shop. She was a member of Prince of Peace Parish at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. Vivian loved traveling and decorating but most of all loved spending time with her family.

Survivors include, her house husband, Larry Collicott; one son, Greg Collicott of Hanceville, Ala.; one daughter, Brenda Collicott of Wichita; one brother, Cecil Weigel and his wife Ruth of Gorham; one sister, Cindy Cockrell and her husband Charlie of Gorham; four grandchildren, Cooper Hammersmith, Max Collicott, Mary Collicott and William Collicott. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Brad Colicott; and a sister, Carrie Weigel.

Visitation will be held from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 27, 2022, at Bryant Funeral Home, with a vigil with rosaries at 7:00 p.m. The family will greet friends at 9:30 a.m. and lead a Rosary at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, April 28, 2022, followed by the Christian Burial Mass at 10:30 a.m., all at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, with Father Prakash Kola presiding. Interment will be in Great Bend Cemetery.

Memorials have been designated at Central Care Cancer Center, care of Bryant Funeral Home.
